Course Description

The #Metoo movement has impacted the workplace and resulted in a increasing number of workplace complaints of sexual harassment. When a compliant occurs, it is important that the organization conduct a prompt and thorough investigation into the matter in order to protect its employees and protect itself against liability. Organizations often look to inside or outside legal counsel to conduct the investigation and gather the key facts. This course guides attorneys through the investigation process. Among the topics discussed are the legal landscape, recognizing and responding to complaints, investigation planning, and information gathering.
