Montana CLE Requirements
Requirements
The State Bar of Montana requires attorneys to complete 15 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every year. The 15 MT CLE hours must include:
- 2 hours of ethics and/or professionalism
- 10 credits must be live (webcast or in-person)
- 5 credits may be taken online with on demand programs (including the 2 required ethics credits)

Reporting
Montana attorneys self-report CLE credits by submitting the Montana Commission of CLE Credit Reporting Form, along with a certificate of completion, to cle@montanabar.org.
