15 hours each year, including 3 hours of professional responsibility.

When is my deadline?

Arizona attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by June 30th each year.

How do I report my CLE compliance?

Attorneys must file an affidavit certifying their compliance by September 15th each year. You can do this online here: http://www.myazbar.org/CLE/cle_tracking_intro.cfm

What if I'm a newly admitted attorney?

What if I've been inactive or exempt for part of my CLE cycle?

Unless you are a newly admitted attorney, any Arizona attorney who is active on June 30th must complete the entire CLE requirement by that date.

What if I don't comply by my deadline?

CLE can be completed after June 30th, and an affidavit can be filed after September 15th. However, the attorney will be subject to late fees as annotated in Rule 45(d), Ariz. R. Sup. Ct. The fee scale can be found here: http://www.azbar.org/cleandmcle/mcle/mclerequirementsanddeadlines. If the MCLE requirements are not met by December 15, summary suspension may result.

Can I carry over extra credit hours?
