Position:

Technology Trial Specialist

Advise attorneys, paralegals and case teams on the preparation of trial, arbitration and hearing presentations. Strategize and create presentation graphics. Interact with third party vendors in the development of trial animations and other support. Consult with case teams to develop and implement trial presentation strategies. Consult with APS analysts on trial specific database and imaging matters to ensure continuity in the trial preparation process. Actively participate in trial preparation, including assisting and advising on the preparation and use of demonstratives and other presentation matters. Interact with APS team on the set up of trial laptops with APS applications, case data and peripherals. Actively support trial teams during trial/arbitration, including daily preparation of trial exhibits and evidence, set up and management of court room equipment, run presentations, and other trial and arbitration specific assistance as necessary. Assist with the development of informational materials for trial specific applications. Participate in training and CLE programs relating to best practices. Assist in development of policies and procedures for processes relevant to this area.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required. Three years in a legal environment with litigation support experience required. Must have an understanding of database and image base applications. Administrative skills in a network environment required. Must have a working knowledge of Sanction, Trial Director and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Concordance, Opticon, Bowne JFS, IPRO, Livenote, MS Products, Doculex, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Capture, Alchemy, and wide-area networking also expected. Must have experience with desktop workstation and laptop set-up. Previous paralegal or related experience a plus. Strong oral communication and writing skills also required. Must be flexible to travel and work overtime. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
